I’ve had Prey for several years. Just noticed that my macbook is no longer seen.
macbook: Mojave version 10.14
Ran: id -g prey and received
Result: 80
Also tried sudo /usr/local/lib/prey/current/bin/prey config hooks set_watcher
Result: Error! Prey Owl Monitor it’s already running
Is there a problem with my Prey account?

Also tried to examine the prey.log file, but it does not exist in /var/log
Ok, in final desperation, I started to download the prey package to reinstall. By magic, during the download of the installation package, Prey magically started working again. Not sure why it stopped or why it started again. Kinda scary, thought about upgrading to a paid subscription but why spend the money if I can’t count on Prey working when/if I need it.

Just confirming that PREY is not at all reliable on MacOS Mojave. Mine saw my computer initially but then went offline from then on.
