I’m still not sure what’s happening so I need your your help to debug it, I hope you are able to run some other tests.
Now i need you to open your Command Prompt as Administrator (like you did before) and run this 2 commands:
sc delete Cronservice
taskkill /F /IM node.exe
If you got a success answer from those commands try installing Prey again and let me know how it goes.
sc delete Cronservice…
service does not exist
taskkill /F /IM node.exe
Error: node.exe not found

Ok, good, you’re doing it right.
Now, again in the command prompt as administrator run:
reg delete HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\Prey
After you run that is gonna ask you if you want to delete that key permanently, you just type yes and press Enter again.
Do that and try to install Prey again, let me know if you have any doubts.

We have been here before. It is an index and I don’t see a way to delete it by such things as highlighting and deleting
The index does not copy and paste well. I have worked manually to make it look as close as I can to how I see it. But it may change during sending.
