Disguised as a game

I remember when I first got Prey it looked like a game. I kept it in a games folder, and if someone tried to open it it just took them to a login page. This seemed a very sensible form of camouflage.

Now, however, prior to login, there is a “What is Prey?” link that then reveals that it is an anti-theft device. Why? WHY would you state thst up front? The person who has installed it already knows what it is; the only people who would wonder are the very people you want to protect your phone from.

Is there a way to get rid of that explanation? It seems pointless at best, and a vulnerability at worst.

Thanks.
