Google Pixel Chromebook Linux Question

I have Linux successfully activated on my Google Pixel Chromebook. I have installed other Linux applications, and they all show up as apps. I have downloaded and successfully installed the Prey Linux program. However, it does not create an app, it says I need to run it from the terminal.

My question is, what command do I enter to RUN the installed Prey program from the Linux terminal?

Thank you.

Hi randix,

Try downloading the .deb file (https://downloads.preyproject.com/prey-client-releases/node-client/1.8.1/prey_1.8.1_amb64.deb) and install it using the command sudo dpkg -i prey_1.8.1_amb64.deb, after the process is finished a new tab should open in your browser so you can configure your device.
Hope that helps.

Javo
