How to ask for Help

We’re always glad to assist you with anything you need regarding Prey. To make things easier for everyone, make sure to check our knowledge base and community first, but if the problem is still not solved, please include the following data when creating a new help topic.

  • Affected device, if applicable (Windows laptop, iPhone, Android phone, Ubuntu workstation, etc.)
  • Prey version running on the device, if applicable (you can see that on the device view, on your Prey account and looks like this)
  • Expected behavior, and that really happens.
  • Screenshots of the problem, if applicable.
