I have a Windows 10 Pro laptop.
The laptop is connected to the Internet using a cable, not WiFi.
The Prey client is constantly losing contact with the Prey server, sometimes for days at a time.
I frequently receive an email from Prey stating that it is "Back in sight after 2 days".
During that time I have been using the laptop frequently with no restart of Windows or loss of Internet connection. I have done nothing to restart the Prey process or anything else. It just comes back in sight on its own.
Is there a fix for this problem? Or, what should I do to diagnose the problem?
