I have Prey on my google pixel 3. I am testing out the security features and I tried Lock your device.
All I had to do in order to get around the lock was restart the device.
Is there a better way to solve this?

Restarting the phone will stop the lock only while the system is starting. After a few minutes, depending on your device, Prey will respawn and lock the screen again. To ensure that this happens as soon as possible, allow Prey to run in the background. That’s all.

As an additional note, we made the lock even quicker to start after a system reboot. This will be available as an update on Google Play, so please make sure to install it as soon as it becomes available.
