New device registered in cloud but not on device

I have a new iPhone 12 that I’m trying to add to my prey account. I’ve removed the my old iPhone from the account. And Successfully add the new phone to the account so that it now appears in the prey control panel device list online. I walk through the permissions settings and then end back up at the “Your Security Hub” welcome screen that prey defaults to after an install. When I go to log back in I get the “couldn’t add your device” due to max devices, even though the phone is already added.

I’ve already tried removing prey from phone and starting over. As well as removing device from web control panel and both together. All with no luck. Further, the remove device on the web panel often wouldn’t not work and the phone would reappear after refreshing the page etc.

i don’t have permission to delete but the problem is now solved.
