Device displaying the incorrect model number of Samsung Galaxy.

Prey is displaying Samsung SM-G930P which is a Galaxy S7. The about section of my phone lists Samsung SM-G950U which is Galaxy S8. A Google search confirmed the models to be correct. Prey tracks the phone correctly, but this concerns me because this is a brand new phone from Sams Club. Previously, I purchased a CPU for my PC that turned out to be counterfeit. I’m hoping that’s not the case with my phone.
