I’ve got a Windows 10 laptop. Prey has been installed since I set it up, probably a couple of years ago. In recent weeks, Although I haven’t taken the laptop outside my house, I’m getting hourly emails about it exiting and reentering the Geofence Home.
Any time Prey thinks the laptop is outside my home geofence, it always thinks it’s in the same spot in Jersey City, NJ. (I don’t live near there.)
Actually, I used to get these false alarms once in a while - say, once every month or so. But now it’s on the hour.
Does anyone have any thoughts about what might be going on? Thanks!
