I have 2 laptops installed with Prey, both Win 10. One laptop’s location is shown pretty close to its real location, the second one is way off. Settings and wifi connections are the same for both laptops.
When I set the second laptop to missing, Prey gives me the following error: ENABLE WIFI ADAPTER OR GPS TO RECEIVE LOCATION. Wifi is definitely enabled. Even tried to disable and re-enable it several times. I also tried to switch between location on or off + I enabled and disabled the firewall several times to no avail.
The missing report shows the second laptop being way off from its original location. Maybe it shows a default for my zip code?
I don’t understand what’s going on and need help? Thanks in advance!
